This week was a revision lesson
We installed server 2003
set up the servers with active directory, DNS etc...
Created user accounts (tyron and tyson)
Configured the permissions for the accounts
Installed IIS (web hosting server)
Configured permissions for accessing the web server
Created web site for web server
Tested the server -
- logins
- accessing the web site
- Setting different folder permissions for users

Week 9 - Security

Recommendations for a 'good' password
- use minimum of 8 characters
- Using different characters such as numbers, letters and symbols

Computer user accounts
1 How was the account issued?
2 Does the organisation have an acceptable usage policy?
3 Do your passwords have to meet any requirements such as a minimum length?
4 Does the user account have an expiry date?
